A VISUAL JOURNEY

   Ivana De Armas, a young artist who speaks the universal language of colors and emotions, presents her canvases in front of the observer with bold form and vibrant colors.                                               The power of expressing the artists’ roots lies in the ideals of the expressionist of Schiele and Kokoschka, while ideally relying on the contemporary moment of the time and space.

   The main motive of Ivana’s work is founded on the image of women; women as metaphors, women as symbols of strength and perseverance.The artist adds to her characters the expressiveness that comes out of the picture frame, causing the beholder to react.

   Boldness and persistence are emotions that are screaming from the work of Ivana De Armas. With them , she invites the spectator to challenge the game of patience. The artist directly causes the observers to have a sincere reaction and emotion bounced from each form. Her works are not only the mirror of her soul, but they are also a reflection of anyone standing in front of them. Her work does not have a final form, it develops and lives together with ourselves.
